Every invoice must be assigned to a Contact.

Creating a new Contact

You can create a Contact in a number of different ways:

1. Click the [+] symbol on the Dashboard to open the 'Quick-create' menu; or

2. Navigate to 'Contacts' from the main navigation, and then click the 'New Contact' button; or

3. When adding or editing an Invoice, you can click the 'Add a Contact' text link to manage your Contacts.

Available fields

Contact Details

Legal name

This is the name shown on Invoices that will be issued to this Contact.

Display name
โ€‹

A short name for your Organization to see in Zaprite.

Contact name
โ€‹

If this Contact is a company, this is the name of the contact person.

Email

The email to which we will send Invoices issued to them.

Tax ID

Will be shown on the Invoices issued to this Contact.

Internal Note

Internal note for your Organization to see in Zaprite.

Billing Address

Standard address information can be entered here.

Default Invoice Settings

Currency

The default currency populated when creating new Invoices.

Payment terms

The default Payment Terms populated when creating new Invoices.

Footer note

Use this field to add an optional note at the end of each Invoice, for example: 'Thank you for your business.' You may use your account default settings instead, or remove the note from individual Invoices.
