Zaprite utilizes User Accounts and Organizations. The difference is explained below.

User Accounts

Your user account is what is created when you first sign-up for Zaprite—and is what you use to login and access Zaprite. It is tied to you as an individual by associating an email address and optional username.

A Zaprite user account can have access to one or more Organizations. The permissions you have within an Organization is based on the role granted to you by the Organization's Owner.

Organizations

Every user has a default Organization created for them when they sign-up. Each user is the Owner of their associated Organization. A user may create additional Organizations, or be invited to join another Organization by a different Zaprite user.

If you are invited to join another Organization, you may not have any need for your own Zaprite Organization. In this case, you can simply ignore your Organization and continue to login and access the Organization to which you were invited. If at any time you wish to use your own Organization, you can simply activate it and purchase a Zaprite subscription.
