Importing Tickets
This feature can be used to import a list of attendees and to issue and send Tickets by email to those recipients.
Issuing Sponsor or Speaker Tickets
This feature is useful for bulk issuing Tickets to groups such as Sponsors or Speakers.
Migrating Ticketing Platforms
You may want to use this feature if you are migrating from an existing ticketing platform to Zaprite, and you would like to generate Tickets for attendees who purchased Tickets on the previous platform.
Please note that each recipient in your imported list will receive an email with their issued Tickets. Standard Ticket Fees apply.
How to Import Tickets
Navigate to your Event listing in your Zaprite account then click on the Import Tickets option in the Event options menu.
Step 1: Upload CSV
The first step is to upload your CSV file in the following format:
Name | Company | Quantity | |
Required * | Optional | Optional | Optional (Default: 1) |
Note: There is a maximum of 1,000 lines allowed.
You can find a handy template file to use by clicking the Download CSV template link.
Step 2: Preview Tickets
Once your CSV has been parsed, we will show a summary list of the Tickets to be created. You can review this list, then click Next to proceed.
Step 3: Choose Options
Here you must choose the Ticket Type you would like to issue to these recipients.
TIP: You can create a hidden Ticket, such as a Sponsor Ticket or Speaker Ticket, that does not appear for purchase on the Event listing page.
Decrement Stock
If the Ticket Type that you have chosen has a set Stock amount, you can choose to decrement the Stock or not.
Migrating from another ticketing platform?
If you are importing existing Ticket sales for an Event from another platform, please contact our Sales Team to discuss pricing options: [email protected]
Note: You cannot issue more than one Ticket Type in a single import. If you wish to issue other Ticket Types, you can repeat the Import process as many times as needed.
When you're ready, click the Create Tickets button to issue the selected Ticket Type to the recipient list imported.
Step 4: Complete
Once the import is complete you'll be shown a confirmation message and can click Close to return to the Event page.
At this point, all recipients will have received their issued Tickets by email.
Any errors will be shown here and can be addressed.
